🎉 QGA President’s Challenge 2026 🎉
Calling All Members – Let’s Get Creative!

The QGA President is challenging every member to contribute to our guild’s success by making one or more handmade items to be donated. These contributions will help raise funds for the guild through our annual auction, raffle, and/or direct sales.

Let your imagination soar — we welcome a wide range of creative entries!

🧵 Suggested Donation Ideas:

  • Quilts (any size)

  • Wall hangings (any size)

  • Sets of placemats and napkins

  • Handmade holiday ornament sets (all for one season — e.g., Easter, Mardi Gras, Christmas)

  • Handbags, quilted totes, or crafted storage items

  • Have a different idea? Please check with Sally Johnson for approval and to add it to the list!

✨ Challenge Guidelines:

  • Items should be newly made or specifically made for this challenge — not used or previously made items.

  • Each item should have a minimum value of $50.

  • Creativity is encouraged! Consider themes like:

    • Holidays

    • Baby quilts

    • Scrappy styles

    • Sports or outdoors (e.g., hunting/fishing)

    • Modern designs

    • Paper piecing

    • Hand stitching or embroidery accents

🎁 PRIZES & INCENTIVES:

  • Each donation = 1 entry into the prize drawing

  • Early Bird Bonus!
    Donate by the January 29, 2026 meeting and receive 2 entries per item

  • Bonus for Full-Size Quilts
    Full-size (or larger) quilts receive 2 entries per item

  • A minimum of 4 individual prizes will be awarded, generously donated by the President.

📅 Important Dates:

  • Early Bird Deadline: January 29, 2026 (QGA January Meeting)

  • Final Deadline: February 26, 2026 (QGA February Meeting)
